Step 1: Pull Open the App Map View
When you first open NytLyf, it will pull your location and know where you are. It will find nearby bars and clubs you can click on to get directions, or to find more details about in the Detailed View.

Clicking the menu in the upper left-hand corner of the map view allows you to find the places nearest to you and check-in right then and there.
Also, you will be able to select from any combination of clubs, concert venues, bars, and restaurants to display upon the map.
Clicking the list button in the middle of the nav bar allows you to view a list of the closest places to you (sorted based on your selections).
Clicking on the name of a place will show you more information.
In a business's detailed view, you can see basic information about the place, and you can see the estimated wait time and price for both uber and lyft.
You can tap the picture to see more pictures. Also, you can save whether or not you like the place. In future versions, we hope to add notes or meta-tags for each business, as well as the possibility to check-in on Facebook at this business.
You can retrieve walking directions, or driving directions (we strongly recommend against driving) from the deep link to GoogleMaps.
The buttons on the detailed view will automatically open Lyft or Uber for you and call your ride, so you don't have to walk or drive yourself!
After checking in with the "I was here" button on the detailed view, NytLyf keeps a list of every place you have visited by date!
If your memory is hazy, click to the calendar view and retrace your steps!
